Results from Riverglade round 7

After two rounds in the deep sand and a weekend off, the ClubMX Redemption racing teamwas back to racing on the harder red dirt of Riverglade MX, in New Brunswick. The training and testing we did during the time off proved to be really efficient as every rider on the team got great results. Joey Crown won a moto and the 250 class overall, Josh Osby went 2-2 for 2ndoverall and Eric Jeffery got his best results so far this season. After the riders meeting, I shared a devotion about how our thoughts determine our actions. That we need to give ourselves a checkup from the neck up by getting rid of our stinking thinking. It was an amazing day forJoey Crown, who won his first ever pro 250 overall. Joey had a great start in the first moto, placing him in 3rdon lap 1. He stayed in the same position for 25min + 2 laps, conserving some energy for his second race. Moto 2 will be one to remember for Joey, who started with a holeshot and led almost every lap. After a mid-race battle with his teammate Josh Osby, Crown crossed the finish line on top, giving him the overall victory on the day. Joey is now 2ndin the 250 Jetwerx MX Tour series standings, only 6 points behind the leader.

Josh Osby had a great weekend, gaining some really valuable points over the competition. From the beginning of the day, Josh showed some great speed and qualified 2nd.  His good gate pick helped him grab a holeshot, putting him at the front of the pack right off the start of moto 1. After getting the green flag in 2ndplace, Osby tried everything he could to make the pass for the lead, setting some impressive lap times in the process. After a couple mistakes, Josh had to settle for 2nd. Moto 2 was similar for Josh who started right behind his teammate Joey Crown and put pressure on him from lap 1. Josh was finally able to make the pass for the lead around halfway, but a front flat tire made him lose the top spot and he had to settle for 2nd. His 2-2 finish gave him 2ndoverall on the day and Josh is now only 26 points away from the 250 championship lead.

Eric Jeffery ‘s trip to the Maritimes was very successful, as the #39 left Riverglade MX with his best results of the 2018 season. Eric started moto 1 just outside the top 10 and battle his way to a 12thposition finish. He also had a great 2ndmoto, starting in 12thand getting the checkered flag in 13thplace.  His 12th-13thfinish gave him 12thoverall in the highly competitive 450 class.
